We sponsored the Staffing Industry Executive Forum, which took place in Miami last week. It was definitely the best show I have attended in many years. The crowds were the ideal size, there was plenty of time to interact with individuals attending the conference and we were able to discuss our products with both current and potential customers.
The first day of the show ended with a dinner that we put on for our current customers who were attending the forum. There were a good number of us sitting around a very large table, but I was able to move around as the evening went on to try to connect with everyone. We had a great evening and appreciated the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received on our relationships with our customers.
One customer request was the ability to discuss staffing business intelligence and analytics with other customers. From that we are putting together an online forum to allow customers to share what metrics they use to manage their business and to even share the reports themselves.
Also a special thanks to our customers who worked our booth for us. Many times we were engaged in conversation with other individuals, evaluating new staffing and recruiting systems, and existing customers would stop by and join in the conversations. That kind of support from our customers was great to see.
The 2012 Staffing Industry Executive Forum is in Las Vegas (thankfully off the strip) and I definitely plan on attending.
