Microsoft announced a service update – Q2 2012 in February. This update included enhancements enabling Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 users to use “CRM Anywhere”. As a primary theme for the service update – “CRM Anywhere”, the release is extending the reach of Microsoft Dynamics CRM with a mobile solution and support for a wider variety of browsers.
Microsoft summarized the investments in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Q2 2012 service update into 6 categories – mobility, browser flexibility, social, industry templates, SQL Server 2012, and Certifications. Cross Browser Support
The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Web Client will now run across a spectrum of browsers and platforms in addition to Internet Explorer such as Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome.
These are the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 supported browsers:
- Internet Explorer 7 and higher on PC
- Firefox Version 6 and higher on PC and Mac
- Chrome Version 13 and higher on PC
- Safari Version 5.1.1 and higher on Mac OSX & iOS 5.x
